Head of a Philosopher is a striking character study — a weathered, contemplative face rendered with the intimate warmth that defines Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo's finest cabinet works. Domenico, son of the celebrated Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, spent much of his early career working alongside his father on grand fresco commissions across Venice and Spain.
