Are these really hand-painted?
Every commission is painted in real oil on canvas by professional copyists working in our Xiamen partner studio. Before it ships, we send you a photograph of the finished painting so you can see exactly what you're getting. No prints, no AI fakery — actual oil paint, actual brushes, actual canvas.
How long does delivery take?
Hand-painted oil commissions and reproductions take about three to four weeks to paint, plus delivery, including international air freight from our Xiamen studio. We deliver worldwide and delivery is included in the price; any import duty or tax charged by the country it is delivered to is separate and is yours to pay. Before it ships, we send you a photograph of the finished painting so you know exactly what's coming.
What about copyright?
Every painting in our catalogue is in the public domain — meaning the artist died over 70 years ago, and the artwork is free for anyone to reproduce. We don't copy living artists. For custom commissions, you own all rights to your photograph and the resulting painting is exclusively yours.
Can you really paint my dog?
Yes. Send us a clear photograph (the higher resolution the better), choose a style — Renaissance, Van Gogh, Vermeer, even Hokusai — and we'll paint your pet in that style.
What if the painting isn't quite right?
We send you a final photograph of the painting before it ships, and only dispatch once you approve. Because every piece is hand-painted to your specification, we don't offer change-of-mind refunds — but if anything is wrong with the work in that final photograph, we keep painting until you're happy. If a painting arrives damaged in transit or materially different from the approval photo, we replace or refund in full.
