What we repair

The damage old photos pick up.

  • Tears and missing corners

    Torn edges and small missing pieces filled in to match the rest of the photo.

  • Creases and cracks

    Fold lines and cracked emulsion smoothed away.

  • Stains and water damage

    Brown marks, water stains and spills lifted out.

  • Scratches, dust and spots

    Surface scratches and specks cleaned up.

  • Fading and colour casts

    Washed-out contrast brought back, and orange or pink casts corrected.

How much does it cost?

£15 a photograph, whatever the damage. Adding colour to a black-and-white photo is included if you ask for it.

How long does it take?

Usually within 48 hours of paying. Your restored photo comes back by email as a high-resolution file you can print at home or at any photo shop.

How should I send an old printed photo?

Scan it if you can. If not, lay it flat by a window in daylight, turn the flash off, and photograph it straight on with your phone so it fills the frame.

Is there anything you can't fix?

We can repair damage, but we can't rebuild a face or a detail that is completely missing from the photograph. If a photo can't be restored well, we'll tell you and refund you.

What if I'm not happy with it?

Reply to the email your restored photo came with, within 14 days, and we'll refund you in full.

Can you paint it as well?

Yes. Once your photo is restored, we can paint it by hand in oil on canvas — start a commission from the photo whenever you're ready.
