Why is there a watermark on the preview?
The preview is a smaller copy with our name across it, so you can check the result properly before deciding. Unlock it and you get the full-size file with no watermark.
What will the full-size file be like?
A high-resolution PNG, usually 2,000 to 3,000 pixels on the long side, good for printing at home or at a photo shop.
Will the faces look the same?
With light and moderate damage, yes. We can't bring back part of a face or a detail that's torn away or badly faded: it's filled in as a best guess, and can come out a little different. That's why you see the preview before you pay.
Can you add colour?
Yes, tick "Add colour" for a black-and-white photo. It's included in the £9$12€10CA$17A$17NZ$21CHF 10SEK 99NOK 99DKK 99PLN 49. Colours are our best guess, so clothes, eyes and backgrounds may not match what they really were.
What if I'm not happy after paying?

What happens to my photo?
It's used only to restore it. If you don't unlock the file, your photo, the preview and the restored file are deleted after 30 days. More in our privacy policy.

How much does it cost?

How long does it take?
Usually within 48 hours of paying. Your restored photo comes back by email as a high-resolution file you can print at home or at any photo shop.
How should I send an old printed photo?
Scan it if you can. If not, lay it flat by a window in daylight, turn the flash off, and photograph it straight on with your phone so it fills the frame.
Is there anything you can't fix?
We can repair damage, but we can't rebuild a face or a detail that is completely missing from the photograph. If a photo can't be restored well, we'll tell you and refund you.
