What a commission looks like

Your photograph, painted in oil.

Real commissions from the studio, each one next to the photograph it was painted from. All oil on canvas, all painted by hand.

These are real paintings from the studio, photographed before they were sent out. They were painted for other people and are shown here, with their photographs, as examples of the work. Yours is painted from your own photograph, and we send you a photo of the finished canvas to approve before it ships.

Photograph, then painting

Drag the line: the photo, then the finished oil.

Every pair here is a real commission, photographed in the studio and lined up with the photograph it was painted from: photo on the left, painting on the right. Drag the handle, or focus a pair and use the arrow keys.
